Anyone else for making Asexual Awareness Week October 21-27?

That’s approximately what time it was last year, and since there’s no real definitive date at the moment does anyone else think we should just make it this?

(If you are part of an Asexual community that is organizing AAW some other week, by all means go for it. I was just throwing this out there for people who don’t necessarily have access to a community)

Personally, I think that at this point that would be too last minute - it doesn’t leave anywhere near enough time to prepare or promote anything, which makes it exceedingly difficult to get any research done.

For what it’s worth, I’m talking to people in my area at least about making a coordinated effort around mid-march, and I’d be totally willing to help with resources and planning, etc. for anyone else who wanted to coordinate with us to have the same week.
