If you are 18 years or older and identify as asexual, demisexual, grey-asexual, or part of the asexual community, please click the link below and take the survey on asexuals’ experience of their health and their interactions with the healthcare system.
As more people, communities, and institutions become aware of asexuality, it is important to have a foundation of knowledge to communicate best the health needs, assets, and experiences of the asexual community. I think the best way to get this information is for each member of the community to step forward and be counted.
I designed this survey to give the community the chance to make our experiences and wishes known. The survey will be open until December 31st, and hopefully a summary of the results will be available for the Creating Change Conference in January of 2013.
It should only take 20 minutes, so please take the time to fill out the survey and pass on the link to all the awesome aces you know.
Thanks in advance!
Warning: this survey uses the word “caucasian” as a race (as opposed to calling it white).
Just reblogging this to update followers that the OP updated the survey so it does not say “caucasian” anymore :)
1. Can someone explain to me why “caucasian” needs a warning, and (perhaps relatedly?) why it was removed completely instead of being listed as an alternative (in the way that other varied ethnicity labels were)?
2. Why is california special? (I mean, we are pretty cool, but it kinda makes no sense…)
