I use “aro” pronounced exactly that way. :D

I do pretty much the same (I pronounce them a tad differently, but not enough to matter much).

And so when I say aro ace I feel like I’m secretly a super-powered archer.

    I think it depends on how quickly you speak. If you speak fairly quickly, ay-ro becomes aro. Long vs. short vowels.
