Stainless steel ring?

heylookahufflepuff:

I’m looking at black rings to buy on Amazon and I found a couple very good deals on stainless steel ones. The thing is I don’t know about sizing— does anyone know how much ‘give’, let’s say, a stainless steel ring has? And if you have one or if you have a hematite, which one would you prefer?

Stainless steel will be much better - hematite is not very sturdy and will break if you wear it a lot, drop it, hit it on a counter, etc.

As for sizing, rings don’t really have any “give” - I suggest going to a store that sells sized jewelry, and trying on a few different sizes to determine what size you are. If in doubt, though, go with the larger size, as you can use tape/string/plastic/ other material to wrap around the back or coat the inside to make it smaller.
